Due to some of the reblogs on my photo “Men and boys…”, I found out that Lil Wayne was raped when he was 11 by a 14 year old girl.

He shares this with Jimmy Kimmel when he is asked how he lost his virginity at 11 years old. They don’t acknowledge it much here. They LAUGH!

Jimmy Kimmel does acknowledge it a bit, but then makes a joke again. This is why these Duct Tape pictures are important. People LAUGHED! It’s because he’s a guy, and he was raped by a girl. They automatically think of him as a stud, etc. They don’t think of it as rape. You can clearly see that Lil Wayne does, and he admits that it had a negative impact on him. HELLO, PEOPLE! DON’T LAUGH!

Thank you to one of my followers for bringing this up.

My father once woke up with some chick riding him at a party. His friend thought it’d be funny to let her into his room.

He got very upset and was close to calling the police, but his friends and peers got very tense, upset, and even hostile towards him for it. They didn’t see the problem. There was no perceived problem.

Women rape men, and not even in small numbers. It happens, and it slides.

Thank you to ramblingbrain for sharing that. ^ Everyone, please look above at yet another example of rape culture at its finest when a man is assaulted by a woman.

this world and the societies and cultures we create within it have many things left to grow and develop into. something we could all do more with is viewing every situation with a sense of compassion and understanding for HUMANS, not men, not women, but HUMANS. we are all humans, we all have nerve endings, sensitive magnificent brains. we can all be hurt. we can all bleed.  we can all be violated. we can all be invaded, emotionally and physically. our cultures highlight differences to show the boundaries of our understandings, but someday and hopefully soon this will change. Men and Women are specific highlights, something to point out the differences of what we already understand about the confines and boundaries of gender. we are ALL human. this is knowledge, not opinion, and our world has no other choice but to inevitably embrace knowledge as reality. we are only human, and it will take time. thank you all for commenting on this and sharing and to who posted this. this is something Everyone should consider.
